I came to this work through my own body and an endless curiosity about what's under the surface of things.

Years ago, a period of injury and chronic pain changed the way I understood health, movement, and what it means to live inside a body that no longer feels reliable. What began as a search for relief became a much deeper education — not only in techniques and information, but ultimately a different way of knowing and relating with myself and the world.

That experience deeply shapes how I practice.

It’s part of why I’m patient with complexity. Why I look beyond isolated symptoms toward larger patterns. Why I care as much about how someone breathes, moves, and experiences themselves as I do about where something hurts.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve studied and worked across a wide range of disciplines including Structural Integration, massage, Chinese medicine, craniosacral and visceral approaches, movement, herbalism, nutrition/food, and nervous system-oriented care. I continue to study because no single modality or point of view fully explains our experience, and no two people arrive with the same story.

What matters most to me is learning to listen deeply — to the person in front of me, to the patterns the body has developed, and to what may actually help create meaningful change, trusting the person’s remarkable capacity and the body's innate intelligence to grow and transform when given the right support, environment and permission.

How I Work

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in careful observation. Beginning with the body as an entry-point, we work together, with your participation, feedback and story all important to the process.

Sessions are less about “fixing” the body and more about understanding how it has organized itself over time. Injury, stress, habit, culture, training, emotion — all of these shape posture, movement, breath, and tension in ways that are often interconnected.

I pay attention to how your particular body is adapting and responding, and work to encourage the conditions for greater vitality and expression through hands-on manual therapy, herbal and nutritional support, movement, breath and somatic inquiry.

I also see education as an important part of the process. I want people to leave sessions not only feeling different, but understanding themselves differently — with a renewed sense of wonder for their bodies, a clearer sense of how their body functions and adapts, and how to better support the changes they seek.
